| The bluff that forms the spine of the Tashi Dor peninsula in the lake Nam-tso is a wonderful place to wander around. One has a great view of the lake and the surrounding snow-capped mountains, not to mention the Tashi Dor settlement at the foot of the bluff. The skies were clear over the lake for most of my stay, but one day we got soaked by a rain marking the onset of the rainy season. By sunset the rains had stopped, leaving a cloud cover that caught the blaze of the setting sun. An observation pavilion at the highest point of the bluff gives a point of focus for this image. |
