| As I was heading back to camp from Red Peak Pass, the main route over the spine of the Clark Range in Yosemite National Park, the sun was low on the horizon. I was heading west, into the setting sun, which made the ground cover aglow with backlighting. My heart soared as I walked through this natural light show. (Of course, I was also heading down to rest and dinner, which may have contributed to my mood.) |
