| Sycamore Island in the Potomac River is a delightful small place to roam around on, rife with both wild and cultivated plants. It's hard to get to, though, mostly because it's private land but also because the only access is by rope ferry. I was lucky enough to get permission to shoot there, and amidst the variety of floral beauty available I managed to make this image before being run off by oncoming rain. |
